Body Conditioning 2019 The premise for YOGA Circuits

Formally known as Body Conditioning, this class started in Amesbury & Wilton September 2018. I decided on a re-vamp that allows customers to have a more tailored approach to an exercise class with a focus on getting the best from a workout without being hard and heavy.

A fusion of Yoga, Pilates, and Bodyweight exercises run as a timed circuit allows for an individual to progress at their own pace without keeping up to an instructors class tempo. I’ve changed the format but kept the premise the same.

The class will run a 3by3 delivery by this I mean the 6-week class is broken down into 2 lots of three weeks. The exercises on weeks 1-3 are one programme and the exercises on weeks 4 are a fresh program which keeps the challenge sustained through a 6-week period.

The class is 45-minutes long and is time challenged. Set to three rounds of seven exercises aimed to improve general movement patterns and increase core, upper body, and leg strength.

To measure progress an attendee can bring a notebook and record the number or reps completed within a time-frame and the quality of that rep. Over the weeks the reps should increase to indicate improvement and feel easier to perform.
